From the Bloemfontein Gliding Club, we wish you all a HAPPY 2006!
You may ask: "Isn't that kinda strange to wish people a happy new year early in February?!"
But let us explain....
Many of the members of the Bloemfontein Gliding Club lives from the one
National Gliding Championships to the other. For us, the year only
really ends after the Nationals ended and Dick Bradley and the Soaring
"Safarineers" packed up and migrated to some other venue on the globe.
On behalf of Bloemfontein Gliding club we would just like to thank all
parties involved in making the National Gliding Championships in
Bloemfontein a success. The weather was not so good this year, but the
compitition did bring rain to the thirsty Free State and nobody
complained about that.
