National Gliding Championships in progress |
The South African National Gliding Championships is currently being held
in Bloemfontein at the Tempe airport. Also known as the Dustdevil 2005/6
and hosted by the Bloemfontein Gliding Club, this year's Nationals
attracted 22 international competitors and has a record entry of close to
50. Here is a

media forms a big part in creating an awareness about gliding. Being
featured on National television or in newspaper articles does a lot for
the sport. On 27 and 28 Dec, SABC news had two inserts about the club. As
a result there was a surge of searches on several search engines and hits
