Since Friday 17 Sept 2005, you may have noticed that there were some funny things happening with bgc.org.za. We were doing a server upgrade on the Jupiter Linux system and at the same time there were many people trying to view the website.
(For those of you who visit the website on a regular basis, you will notice the hit counter jumped from 2000 to 10000 in a very short time! Google indexed every square inch of the website, as did Yahoo and MSN. People from 26 countries are currently viewing the site!)
To get back to the migration, there were some interesting results, and you could have been redirected to totally the wrong websites. Please accept our apology for any problems encountered. We are doing our best to avoid situations like this, but they do pup up in cyberspace from time to time.
