First
of all our apologies to those of you who came to visit the website and
was informed that the website does not exist! A webmaster's nightmare.
There was some hangup with the Domain Name Server and the website
practically dissapeared form the net. As soon as the problem was traced
down, I started to work on it. Eventually, one thing lead to another
and we made a move to a new ISP called E disc in JHB. They are supplying
the club with a wonderful Linux hosting solution, with a lot of extra
bells and whistles that make webmasters and end users very happy. If you
need hosting, please contact them.
I am busy rewriting the website into PHP format, and the whole
website will operate on a MySQL database backbone. Look out for
features like a forum, site wide search, user login, newsletter
subscription and much more.
Don't worry about all the formentioned technical jargon, if your Gran
wants to know, just say that we are upgrading and will soon have an
even better website!
