What are the costs involved in Gliding? |
Bloemfontein Gliding Club is one of the most affordable places to fly
at. The idea is to get as many as possible people to fly at the highest
possible standard of safety and excellence. Intructors give instruction
on a voluntary basis, and the heartbeat of the club is about people
giving their time and money to help others and themselves to experience
the awe of soaring.
Club Fees are due to change without notice.
Membership fees
* Entrance fee: R 1000
* Monthly subscription: R 100
* Annual Aeroclub fees: R 461
* Work levy: R 50 per month
Flying rates
* Winch Launch: R 30
* Flying Astir, Ka7: R1 per minute
* Motor glider engine: R1 per unit
* Motor glider gliding: R1 per minute
* Intro flight with glider: R 100 for 10 minutes
* Intro flights with Motor Glider: R 150 for 15 minutes incl. warmup
Hangarage: R 60 per month
